I saw an old post where someone was asking how to get water spots off windows, this works for glue residue from stickers, as well as chrome....

All you need is 0000 steelwool, and Sprayway glass cleaner, we used this at the Ford dealrship, guarantee it works....

Spray window or crome with Sprayway, and gently rub with steelwool, it only takes a light touch, a little more pressure than it takes to hold it on the glass, lightly spray again, and wipe clean.

For glue residue, sprat spot good, and use the same procedure.

I have tried other cleaners, including the glass cleaner from Ford, and Sprayway works the best.

I've tried that with some real stuborn stains, and it didn't do anything. I will say, though, Sprayaway glass cleaner is real good.

I've heard that Bar Keep's friend will take them off, but I haven't tried it. I have used it to remove the residue left by old window tint at my house, and it worked very well.

Glass

Twice a year I use 0000 steel wool on my glass. Do not rub hard just lightly buff. I learned this from my dealer. I saw the guys in back preping my 07 when I bought it new. Was pretty scared. I asked why they just said it gets the sticky stuff off from the factory.
