What are these connectors under the washer reservoir for?

In the first picture, I'm assuming that the two connectors with the green circles are for the washer reservoir level sensor, and the washer fluid pump. What is the connector in the red circle for though?

In the second picture, there are three rubber hoses that are not connected to anything. I'm pretty sure that the two in the green circles are lines for the washer fluid. The one in the red circle though has a T connector, with one of the lines going no where, and I don't see anywhere that this would plug in to either. Does this plug in to the washer reservoir somewhere, or is it a vacuum line for something?

This is for a 98 Expedition, Eddie Bauer 4x4.

Thanks!

the extra connector looks like it is for a air compressor for air suspension and the hoses probably connected to it. If you dont have air susp then maybe somebody deleted it in the past.

If that's where the compressor is supposed to hook up, I guess that would explain why my "Check Suspension" light comes on :)

Does the air suspension use that fairly small hose that's right there to adjust the air?

Since my compressor is completely gone, why would the Check Suspension light only come on intermitantly, and not all the time? Also, wouldn't the truck have dropped without the compressor?

Thanks

I would guess that the previous owner replaced the air susp with regular suspension. look at the back axle if it is held up with big coil springs not airbag/airsprings then it has been converted.

Awesome, there are indeed some large brand new looking coil springs supporting the back axle. :rocking:

Now to disable the light, which I saws someone had recently posted how to do.

Thanks!
