Did nothing to it but fill it up with gas, cost me a sweet $95 to fill up the tank (34.5 gallons @ 2.759 a gallon). Can't imagin if gas was $5 a gallon, I'd need $200 a week just to keep it running.

I did nothing of that nature to the truck, used to be my mother's in law truck and I asked her if it was modified she said no it's been that many gallons to fill up since day one. She did run it once till it turned off out of gas and took 35+ gallons to fill up so I assume it has a 36 gallon tank.

Finally finished a large project.

Replaced:
All 4 struts
All 4 hub assemblies
Front tie rods, upper control arms, lower ball joints
All 4 brake rotors and pads
All brake lines (where the project started with rusted through brake lines)

Cleaned and painted brake calipers
And removed rust from a number of areas and coated with underbody spray

It's a 2003 EB that I've owned a year. I have also replaced a rusted radiator support and welded in rocker panels. The truck has 79,000 miles on it and the previous owner kept the interior immaculate, but did not do a lot to limit the effects of Ohio winters on the underbody. I hope I'm done for a while, but from what I read on here the spark plugs project is waiting for me.

Sorry for the lengthy post. This website has helped tremendously! Thanks to everyone who posts.

Sorry 10k but I'll be the first to Call BULLSHlT on this.

I've done it. Littleton, CO to Destin, FL. 1,486 miles. Took like 24 or 25 hours of clock time. It was brutal. Did it right after Christmas 2015. Don't think I'd do it again all in one shot. 1,000 miles is about my daily limit.

To michaelsherrock,
I had also done my 4 hubs on a truck with similar low miles, an '05
with 85 K. Also, brakeline, the front left, right and half of the supply line
midway going to the rear with nickel/copper line that will never rust again.
The rest of the way back didn't need it maybe because of different material,
stainless or better coating. No rust. I need a right rocker panel and floorbrace
gusset underneath and the radiator support is shot. Except for the weather
issues here in Upstate NY, similar to your Ohio, repairs like the hubs seem
unusual for relative low mileage. Did you fabricate a rocker panel from sheet
or are they available? Where did you get the radiator support? I read somewhere
here that they were available cheap from Rock Auto. Did you plug weld it?
