Re-gaped my plugs because i figued out my plug gapper i have used for years is .017 off. I got bored and decieded to check my plugs to make sure they were tight and while I was at it I was checking for lean/rich conditions and checking gap size and found this. I thought I had my plugs at .035 but found out with a newer gapper they were at .052 wich I asume were blowing out under boost. My truck seems alot happier now......

You remind me of when I had an old 1968 Ford Galaxy 500 and would sit up under the hood and pull the plugs and regap and tweak. That was soooo much easier to do then these engines are.

Just curious, what plugs and torque are you using for your rig?

Congrats on the house. I am actually working on purchasing a house too. But my expedition is sitting at home in Michigan with half it's cladding removed and front bumper removed waiting on a 07 front end swap and motor swap

gave her a new in dash dvd monitor and a flip down rear monitor. also tinted the driver and passenger windows

Repaired broken wires for power seat and seat belt sensor...no more flashing airbag light!

Got it stuck! Lift and tires are great for snow and mud, not so much for ice...

I am using NGK TR6's and I tork by feel. I have change I ton of plugs on my expy and others and always done this with out any issues.
