I know it sounds weird to most but I just cruised it. Something about a ford truck that just makes me feel at home and makes me just want to drive.

i hate manuals...i'm great with them but i hate them. even in our corvette or Bel-Air i would much rather have an automatic.

automatic is the death of driving... also manual is a good anti theft device and you have to drive to drive not just get in and let the car think and you steer like an arcade game..

i'm just glad they dropped the manual option on the new trucks. makes things much easier when truck shopping.

for the record i think the death of driving is traction control and roll stability control.

I replaced my extra reverse tail lights to a sleeker halogen model with real glass. The original reverse lights is not valid in Sweden, and you must have extra lights mounted.
Im pleased anyway...

I agree with Alaskan. Computer controls make cars much less fun to drive. I feel like a manual would be sweet for a week or so, and then it would be a pain. And especially in my truck, I would not want to tow with a manual. If anything, I would buy a manual car.

A manual was made for towing you don't see any automatic semis

actually you do...

Transmissions

many of the MACK, Petes and Kenworth's i see go through my shop these days are all autos.

also look at your towing guids for any of the pickup truck manufactures. the automatic trucks have higher towing capacity's.

i gave my Expy a wash today. looks good as new.

We have a Freightliner Columbia with an automatic at out training site that we use to pull our lowboy, makes a big difference when we're hauling something big.
