installed a specter cai i got off craigslist for $100 bucks. works great. its quiet but it was missing some parts, but i made it work. only problem is if you let it sit for a while the tube attracts heat so the IAT goes up. i had it at 120 the other day. that includes turning the truck off and letting it sit. its just heat. but as long as your driving around and moving the IAT is around 45-50 early morning and 55-70 in the afternoon. hasnt been hot here so cant tell if summer heat will make it rise, most likely will. ill know when i go to the desert this coming weekend.

plans to do this week is take the KCs off the jeep and put them where my hellas are. then convert all of them to HID. 3000k for behind the grill and 5000k up top. should be great for the desert.

I got to Sam's Club to do our weekly grocery shopping and get out a hear a hiss. I immediately check the rear tire where it sounded like it was coming from and found a nail in the tire. It was right on top saying look at me, I'm here to screw your day up. So I continue to go into Sam's since one of the benefit's of our membership is free flat repair, but I new from where it was they may not be able to fix it. And they weren't able to. Since they didn't have any 22's in stock I called around and found a shop that had a set for cheap. They are cheap Lexani tires, but I only gave $750 for all 4. So I'm not too upset. Just wasn't planning on buying tires when I woke up this morning. I went with a 305/40R22 tire and when the sun comes out tomorrow I have to find where it is rubbing and maybe take a heat gun to the inner fender plastic.

Replaced all the instrument cluster lights and polished up the lens/bezel.

Now I will no longer have to guess how fast I am going when I drive at night, or use the flashlight to see if it's time to get gas yet... hehe

No, didn't bother with LEDs, just some nice, bright Nighthawk replacement bulbs. Now I just have to wait for night fall to see what they look like. ;)

Nice, I've been eyeballing a set of KC's myself. I'm thinking a nice set of 130w driving for those back road highways. Soooo many deer and moose around here...

Filled her up, changed oil, aired up the tires, replaced the new passenger side wiper that I just put on bc it wasn't reaching the whole windshield at the end of the down stroke. I had bumped it up to a 22" on both sides but went back to a 20" on the passenger side and now it's perfect. The drivers side still has a 22"and it fits alot better, also put on a steering wheel cover cuz the wheel looked like it had been half-ass repaired at some point and it looked like it was melting, looks much better now.

Post a pic when you get a chance, I am also in need of doing light work in the dash and am curious how it turned out.
