Mine is 4WD. I lowered it 11 years ago because I new I would never take it wheeling. It doesnt eat tires, It rides nice and corners well like this too.
I also take it in the sand and snow and it does great. Im glad it has the A4WD option because I have a problem with the ass end always tring to pass me. For some reason it always wants to be first......

I wasn't even aware you could lower a 4wd 1st gen!

Very cool!!

As a matter of fact, I was worried that they were starting to oxidize a bit, so today, I took cleaner wax and a rag to the headlights as well as the fogs. Spent about 10 minutes on each light. Looks pretty good, and should be easy to keep up!

Now, I feel the need to detail the WHOLE truck, and put a good coat of wax on it. Especially before the winter sets in. They are calling for snow on Wednesday

They don't make anything to do it as low as I did but what I did was 2WD lowering springs for the rear and the cut a inch out of the torchon bar stops and that will get you about 8" in the front.

I am doing two 35w kits. 5000k for my headlights and 3000k for my fogs. I choice 5000l for the headlights because I want more light, without being "Ricey". 4300-4800k are the "stock" HIDs in luxury cars. I believe the Navigator is 4800k. Also, Yellow (3000k) is WAY better for fogs. It actually cuts through the mist and the fog and helps to see. It's great for dawn and dusk. I'll be posting before and after pics soon!

Yours look VERY good Freeway. I wasn't calling your lights ricey. But sometimes you see a Honda with Purple lights, that is ricey.

FREEWAY drives an '04 I believe.

SO... FREEWAY came over and helped me (He did most of the work) install HIDs in my low beams and fog lights. I'll post pics tonight.
