Changed my oil and used royal purple. My expy seems happy so far....
I plan on doing something with the stock sub and spealers eventually. Haven't decided if I want to do the JL stealth box or buy a new 8" sub and replace the stock amp. Mostly I just want something that isn't going to turn the bass volume down when I turn the volume up. But for now, I don't care.
my '98 rolled 96k miles tonight![]()
No rolled cuz thats how they turn for manual

Good ol analog, I like the blue cluster lights looks sharp! That's pretty low mileage you got on yours also!!
yes the blue tint is the other dead give away of the 97/98s the gauges are all stock.
i'm a bit sad though as i remember buying her with 63k back in 2010 like it was yesterday.
Made progress yesterday and today with cleaning the interior. as is to be expected with a $400 purchase she was pretty neglected cosmetically. Here are some pics of the process. I've currently put the seats back in w/o the carpet, tomorrow I'm going to head over to the local coin car wash and use their pressure washer to clean it better. today though I bought some awesome and straight ammonia and mean green to go over the interior panels and floor trim and what a difference it made. the color is coming back nicely and is actually tolerable. when summer time gets here I will pull the seats back out and pressure wash them.
she will be like new someday I hope![]()

You are a brave man.
I am afraid to pull my interior apart and of what I would find if i did (well, that, and I am very lazy)
Had the truck almost a year now, and an old butter knife slide out from under the front passenger seat the other day. I really do not want to know what else is under there...![]()
