Not today, or even this week, but I recently went over all the plastic trim on the outside with a heavy coat of peanut oil. They look pretty much new. I'll have to re-apply at some point, but for now it makes the truck look a LOT better. Before, some of it looked as light grey as the border of the reply box I'm typing in, and after it's as dark grey as the rest of the page and more importantly, it's all the same color.

Started taking the drivers side valve cover off. Would have completed the task too if it wasn't for that damned EGR tube nut and no open part stores!

It was awkward for me too. I didn't move because I didn't want them to feel weird that I was sitting in it. They were paying a lot of attention to my intercooler so I am suprized they didn't seem me through my windshield.

Changed the oil this weekend and cleaned up the interior a little. No sense doing a whole lot with the outside with all of the salt on the roads around here.

Well, we sold our Expy after 8 yrs. A lot of good memories but I believe it went to a good home.
I haven't been active as far as posts but you have all provided tons of help and entertainment over the years. Good luck and here are a few pics from the final detail.

Took my running boards off in preparation of installing the 3 inch black Round Nerf bars. Also, installed the King Ranch wheels. The tires are wrong and will be fixed today.

Brushed the three inches of snow that fell yesterday off it so i could drive to work this morning.

Great first day of spring (when the snow fell and made traffic wayyyyy fun yesterday), yay

Washed and waxed my roof and the took apart my rear hatch and re-calked all the calking points. It now sounds like a car door when I shut it. They are know for coming apart inside the rear hatch from slamming it closed. Most people probably would never care about this but my OCD prevents me from not caring....
