A dozen or so on the hood- couple pretty deep. Also broke the plastic trim on the rear corner of the passenger rear door.

The hail also took out our tent that the family was sleeping in at the time and bruised the hell out of my wife as she shielded the kids as I was holding the tents wall from completely collapsing on us.

Camping trip from hell!!

Yikes. That sounds like some fierce hail. Glad to hear everyone was relatively OK.

Wife wanted to go out on the yacks and I had some new shoes. Michelin LTX AT2s on 20" "chrome" clad wheels. Icons up front and need to do the UCAs and supporting mods next.

I need to trade it in the next 8-12 months (just hit 23k miles) but I'm between a rock and a hard place. I refuse to own a ecoboost (been there done that never freaking again) and I'm not sold on GMs new SUVs. I'd like to get a suburban with the 6.2 and normal 4wd but that's not an option.

I wish ford would ditch the ecoturd or give you the 5.0 option at least, I really feel bad for the people who have purchased the ecoturd hoping they'll live into the high milage range and they just don't so there's no way I am going to a '15 expedition.

I know exactly how you feel that ecoboost is crap IMO too but maybe if you're lucky in 2018 the 8 cylinder will come back or you could get a new Denali which I believe might have a 6.0 or a 6.2 but I'm not certain I know there will no longer be any 3/4 ton SUVs from any manufacturer at least for now so if you want something brand new and powerful you might have to give up the Expedition all together [emoji24] also I think GM still produces 3/4 suburbans for commercial use and they sell them to fleet companies and government etc but in the 07-14 body style so maybe you could try to go that route and buy one from them but a lot of this is just rumors I've heard lol good luck maybe just keep that KR you have now it's not all that bad unless it's a lease...

Got the monster hook off and the impossible lock from Hollywood Racks off (don't recommend anyone with an Expy buy their hitch locks as they don't fit at all lol) for now and the hitch on so I can go pick up my dads new 26' pontoon boat when the time comes [emoji48] will be my first time ACTUALLY towing something worth towing with my Expy and I'll see how it does...

Well I finally did it, 6 months in the making. I installed my electric fans, using a duel temperature switch from a vw. Works great so far, switch says 91deg c and 99 deg, small fan cut in at 97 so I'm happy with that. Who knew how well you can hear the valve train withoutthat big clutch fan rrunning all the time.

We stuffed a reclining sofa in my EL today. So in case anyone was wondering, yeah, you can fit a couch in there. :p

I dropped the oil pan and found the pick up screen all gunked up. That took all day to drop. Now I gotta remove the tube/screen and clean it all out. The pan add well. Then replace the oil filter. I'll be doing several 500 mile oil changes... Maybe 4 or 5 just to make sure it all gets flushed out. Probably seafoam first.

i had intermittent low oil pressure issues. When I dropped the pan I also found chain guard plastic pieces at the screen as well. Not to concerned with the chain guard breaking up. Shes a 2nd vehical with 200K miles. I just use her to get back and forth to work... 10 miles round trip.

Spray painted black bedliner over the PlastiDip I had on the bumpers, trim and liftgate. I like the look better than PD.

Thanks! BTW, the reason I plastidipped the liftgate in the first place was that annoying aluminum corrosion and paint bubbling issue that seems to be so common on 2nd gens. I initially tried proper automotive paint, but couldn't get it to look smooth so I just said F* it! and went with PlastiDip last year.

Found a nice place for my G20 to ride, installed an A bar and a aerowrap hood protector a couple weeks ago.

I thought about a similar setup.

Today, I replaced the driver's side lower seat foam. Man what I difference! Seat sits level now, and I have bolsters on both sides. Cooling works better too, since the channels are not collapsed. Sit up higher too.
