Checked my tire pressure. I set them to 44 up in NY this winter on a warm (for winter) day. Checked in Florida when its high 80's temp and pressure is up to 55 psi. LT tires so can handle it but not right profile for tread wear. Lowered to 48 psi.

Tires went from 44 to 55 psi just by driving south?

I guess I need to check and adjust my pressure when I drive to a new area with big temp change .. How many people do that?

Generally speaking, it's 1-2 PSI for every 10F degrees. Beyond that, I would suspect a problem with the gauge.

Looks like mine, but I only drove through the yard. I've been hauling stuff and storing in the basement, which can be accessed easily via the backyard. The recent rain has made our already wet property a mud pit though. Even with 4WD, you have to keep your momentum going or you'll get stuck (with highway tires anyway).

Yup I live in North Georgia and it's been raining 2 days stopped today.

Mounted new driver side seat plastics where to seat controls are, new rear wiper assembly, ordering headlights soon, and led reverse lights

Google "hydrophobic auto". Bunch of newer products. Recent technology of hydrophobic treatments that repel water. We used them in Xerox machines starting 10 years ago or so. Cool stuff to watch work.

Changed the oil. The old oil flowed out nicely with the engine at ~175F.

Christmas Tree Pass is beautiful. People decorate the cedars like Christmas trees but the BLM has just done their annual cleanup so no pics. The dirt road cuts off about 15 miles from the trip but adds 20 minutes to the drive. Definitely more fun than the highway.
