I practiced on a spare set of lenses last year for the Mustang. Prefer to use tinted clear, but it's so much easier to use the VHT stuff. I found the best way to use it to lay the clear before the VHT flashes out.
Exactly - if you lay the clear before the VHT flashes then they still have that wet look to them and don't get as "dull".
If you really want them to look good once everything cures, wetsand with 2000 grit and then use a good polishing compound and buff them out. Then they turn out nice and shiny and almost look like professional tinted clear.
This pic is just the lights being sprayed with no buffing as I have not had time, but we did my buddies '03 Accord and buffed his and they look real sharp. He is always having people ask where he got them done at and no one belives that it is VHT!
ALWAYS COMES IN 3'S so it looks like that is all taken care of and everything should be in your favor for a while!
