i just couldnt remember if it was rusto or dulpli. and i'm not going to be doing the front. the chrome gives it some contrast to the dark red and black i have. but the rear i wouldnt mind doing. i know when i make my front tube bumper ill be putting bed liner on it. give it a bit tougher look.

I want to get rid of the chrome on mine, but there is so damn much on my truck. I would like if I could match the same color of my truck on the fenders and the stripe thing down the side. But if I ever get around to making my bumpers, they will be bedlined for sure.

I'm going to bed line my tube bumpers when ever I get to making them as well. So on the plastic I don't have to prep at all? Just spray? So no primer? Just want to make sure. I have like 2 cans of white primer. Or should I just use it for funn? I don't want to screw this all up.

any clear would work... if on paint you really don't need primer but I would scuff it up so paint has something to grip and clean it with acetone so it has a clean surface to bond too.... thats my plans if I ever get time

All right I'll do that. It's raining today and what happened? I slipped out of my truck. So I need to go get some.

well you guys are in luck cause I just did mine today. Well the fender flares and the front and rear trim, and I used rusto, it worked GREAT! and looks pretty damn good if I do say so myself. Ill see if I can't post up some pics here in a few. But Im thinking about going and having the actuall bumper Rino-Lined just so if it starts to crack or something I can take it back and they will fix it. It also works great as a sound deadner. Sprayed the whole bottom of my truck with it!

For the bumper plastic pieces, if you look from the the bottom side of the bumper, there are a bunch of little clips from the plastic that stick through. You have to pinch those together and push them out. Its pretty easy, and they pop back in when you put it back together.

^-------+1. Yea all you have to do is just like he said. But I am thinking about doing the grill, i think it'd look pretty sick. And Im getting the 18" XD Rockstars (black) and Nitto Mud Gapplers although idk wether or not I wanna do 33's 35's or 38's. But all that black will go great together. Im also going to tint my tail lights and go with Presidental tint on the back windows and maybe do 2 layers of 15% on the driver and passenger. I know I know thats illegal, but i have my windows down 99.9% of the time anyway.
