Second the recommendation to replace them all. I did all of mine after discovering the same leak in August 2016.
This was from RockAuto at the time:
MOTORCRAFT KH558 Heater Hose / Pipe $ 33.79 $ 0.00 1 $ 33.79
MOTORCRAFT KH557 Heater Hose / Pipe $ 38.79 $ 0.00 1 $ 38.79
MOTORCRAFT KH559 Heater Hose / Pipe $ 14.51 $ 0.00 1 $ 14.51
Hoses like that are for assembly efficiency on the production line.Old thread, but... Just cut it and put a T connector in it. No reason to spend all the money and waste the time replacing the whole hose. The T connector is how Ford should have done it in the first place. It's a common repair. I did it on my 07 about 100k miles ago.
Lol. So true...Hoses like that are for assembly efficiency on the production line.
"So what if it costs 5x more to fix?"
Found in the trunk of every old farts' car: 2-3 feet of 3/4" heater hose and two screw clamps. (We've been there.....)
