Hello!

First post here, I'd like to know how often do you have to replace the transfercase and differential oil?

Mine is an 05 with 47.5K miles currently. TIA.

I change my transfer case every 25k with my transmission fluid and filter....I change my front and rear diff every 10k and make sure if you have a posi rear end you add the limited slip additive first and then the fluid....these are just my preferences...your owners manual will tell you re and I am sure others here will give input as well....BTW..I have a video posted on how to refill your transfer case and diff....one more note that someone gave me was to first make sure the fitting to refill on the transfer case comes out first before draining and then realizing the refill hex thread wont come out!

Wow! Thank you for the the tip, but why so often? Is this your personal preference or is it really recommended? BTW, where can I find your video?

This is my personal preference...I change my oil every 3k if not just a bit prior...I use ALL top of the line synthetic oils...I flush my cooling system every 21k. I use Napa gold filters which are made by WIX which NASCAR uses as well....I just feel you take care of you car or truck it will never let you down...kinda like your body...each cheeseburgers, fries and fatty foods your body will not function like it should eat good and you will live good....vehicles are no different....just my 2 cents....im sure the peanut gallery will chime in here.....LMAO...oh yeah and Im retired...so I have time on my hands...

Good analogy, it should help..So Chappy, you've retired at 48, man, I wish I can retire at the age of 60.. It must be nice to retire at 48.

It has been too cold out side or else I would have taken some pictures, but I will take some soon though. Thanks for chime in Chappy...
