I'm looking to mount an electronic "air horn" from Whelen in my 08.
https://www.amazon.com/Whelen-Engineering-Power-Air-Horn/dp/B009UWMCKU
The speaker, which is a standard siren speaker mounts easily with a bracket under the hood latch. The control module, though, is a different story. It's rather big (perhaps 8 x 6 x 4) and is supposed to be protected from the weather. In the fleet cars these are mounted along with radios on a plank behind the seats. I want to keep it all in the front.
To sound the horn, I'm using the blank button next to the hazard flashers, modified with the guts from a power liftgate button.
There's some room under the radio behind the heater controls to fit the module but no easy way to attach it.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas where this box may fit under the hood or dash?
