Hello, Im looking to get some Rancho or Bilstein or anything better than your average Monroe shock. Problem is, with air supsension and 4x4 I only find Monroe shocks.

Does anybody know where I can buy all 4 shocks for my 97 Expy 4X4 with air suspension. I've looked all over but it always says (Except air leveling suspensions:()

Please any help will be appreciated.

get rid of the air sus. that will help.

I thought about that but everytime i hook up my trailer, i love the air suspension. Its nice to have a load and it sits even with no sagging.
I was thinking maybe just going with the original shocks which i think are Motorcraft?

yeah. the rear uses shocks that work with the bag and the front uses air shocks. and even if you had bags all around you still need shocks to dampen the bags. the bags are just springs. need springs and bags. on the 4wds on the 1st gens the springs in the front are the torsion bars.

Thanks for all the info. Im gonna go to 4 wheel parts for one last attempt to see what is available. Otherwise Motorcraft it is.

Try Oreillys they carry the Motocraft shocks for front and rear for the expys with 4 corner air ride.

If you do not have 4 corner air ride and all you have is the rear air ride, then check out the KYB shocks that they carry. They are a little more on the heavy duty side.
