Been lurking on the board for a week or so looking for advice on a leveling/lift kit for my 2007 Eddie Bauer 4x4.

I don't have the airbag suspension. I see struts under there.

I do have AWD.

Is there much difference between the Truxxx, Fabtech, ReadyLift kits? What about ones on eBay that look like the Truxxx kit for $150.

Do they or don't they work with AWD?

Thanks!

i dont know much about the 2nd gen kits. i havent herd anything bad from the ebay ones but you never know. and its not really the lift that will kill ur mileage. you shouldnt see a drop. but its the big wheels and tires that you stuff under there that kills the mileage.

That's interesting. I lifted my Cherokee 6 inches and immediately saw a ~2 mpg decrease. A few months later, I put bigger tires on and saw another ~2 mpg.

Yea i agree, with my 97. I did the leveling/lift and put the rims/tire on the same time and noticed at least a 4 mpg decrease.. I went from 265/75/16 Cooper Discover ATR to 33x12.5x18 Nitto Grappler A/T. Granted it didn't get good gas mileage anyways..

i put the truxxx 3/2 lift and level kit in my 03 xlt and was pretty happy with the results although the install was kinda a pain as should be expected. as for other brands i dont really know how they stack up against the truxxx kit the deciding factor for me was it seemed to be the largest spacer lift available for my model i could find without buyin a full lift kit and spendin around $2000
