Hello, how is your order going? Is it still stuck at "IN PRODUCTION"?
I know this is late but I ended up finding one that came in much sooner and exactly what we wanted so I ditched the order. According to the dealer it was on the ground (the ordered one) just a few days out but ford was showing still in production. Not sure if the dealer was leading me on so I wouldn’t cancel on them. I randomly checked yesterday and it finally showed built and awaiting shipping.

Just traded in our 2020 Expedition Max XLT for a 2025 Expedition Max Active in Glacier Grey. Love the vehicle and color.

I like…that looks so bad-ass. It almost looks like a police vehicle in that rear shot.
Hah, the wife and some of the family were joking it looked like a government vehicle. Our second choice was glacier gray, but i do like how Stone Blue Metallic with the SSP/Stealth features, but i wish it was a little lighter blue like our 2018 was.

The Platinum Ultimate Package is being suspended because of the lack of the 24 inch wheels again. I ordered on October 28th and my order was pushed out till the week of August 11th. I spoke to my salesman today and we change the order from a Platinum Ultimate to a Stealth SPP. Hopefully mine will get built sooner than later. I was able to keep the original order and VIN so I dont go to the bottom of the queue. I've attached the letter from FORD

So just ordered a Platinum max with drivers package and second row bench on Monday. Is 3 months a realistic timeline or should i expect longer?

Congrats on the new ride! Quick favor as I asked this another thread, but never heard back. On your 2025, can you see if there is a bar that is attached to the frame, right in front of the driver and passenger front door that goes into the wheel well to protect the occupants in the small offset crashes? As I understand it, this bar is not on the 2022-24 expeditions, and would be a clue as to whether or not the ‘25s would have better safety this time around.
I too am curious about crash test safety improvement in the '25s. We have a '24 Timberline and discovered that the front offset crash rating is poor after purchasing. Considering a change due to this in fact. Would like to see the '25 results, and am wondering if the lack of crash bars is a sign of lack of improvement. I assume the chassis of the '25s are the same as '24s.
