Well here they are. Tire shop said there was no problem mounting the 315's on my stock 7in rims. I cranked the torsion bars to get them on and now I guess I will rock the Cali Lean until I convert the rear air to springs and do the 3in aluminum spacers from ebay. But hey, 35's baby! lol

oh, and the guy I swapped my 285's with paid the $128 bill to have them mounted and balanced, PLUS gave me $100. So I couldnt really pass up the offer.

Wow those are stuffed in there. I have 5 inches of lift, and I still rub when I'm backing out of the drive way. Are you having issues with that? If not, I'm sure everyone else on here is gonna be stuffing 35's on there X's in the next few weeks.
I'll have to bookmark this thread for all the newcomers who will be asking if 35's will fit stock setups. ( Other than the TT)

I wasnt too sure how bad I was going to rub the frame due to the positive offset of the factory rims. So to be safe, I pulled a couple of the wires that were attached to the frame on the drivers side off and secured them to the back side of the inner fender liner with a zip tie. I trimmed the bottom corners of the black plastic piece below the front bumper, but that was to be expected. Other than that, the tiny rub spot on the frame in the pic is all the rubbing I am getting. And thats at full crank. I am also including pics of the drivers side trimmed and the passenger side untrimmed for comparison. Hope this helps.

Too early to tell. I can go off the overhead console but that gets messed up with my remote start cause it factors in the time spent idling warming up. With that it shows 7.6 mpg. (Yah we have lots of -40 degree temps here in MT) during the summer it says 10.6 average mpg. That's still lower than I would like and I'm hoping that gets better after dual exhaust and a programmer (as soon as I can afford one)

I don't understand how my tires rub when I have a 285/65...? They said that my tires were in the extreme fit category over at discount tire.

your rims. its the backspacing. if they continue to rub a lot i would get like an inch or 1.5 inch spacer. itll help. i think your backspacing is wrong. what backspacing do you have on your rims?

How has the tread been wearing for you? I am looking to get 315's here within 2 weeks ( currently run old 285's ) and wanted to see how the tread wear has been with the 315's on the stock rims....

dont know if hell respond, hasnt been on for a while. haha but they wouldnt wear any different than the tires you have now. size dosent contribute to wear. it dose on other parts, but not tires. haha
