Winch help

Hi all i got an 8000lb champion winch for free but the catch is ( yes for free there is a catch)

it does not have the remote for it...

Does anyone know where i can get one??

Is this harbor freight's brand?

umm after looking at it i think i would go for it, it looks like a mile marker copy cat...

and i think ANSI still has to sign off of these things soo for the price how could you go wrong?

so ya i would probly go that route, that beats harbor freght prices on a winch

hmmm... hell for that price i might just pick me up one. a hell of a lot cheaper than a warn. and seems to be just as good. but heres the thing with warn. my uncle killed his. by accident. not covered under warrenty type of screw up. ran it with out line and let it go till it blew its self up. he sent it to warn and they fixed it for free and put a new housing on it for free. so i have to say i want a warn, but this one is super nice too. i need to find that 20 ton winch i saw. cant seem to find the right one. some chinese pos is the only one, but who knows. ill look threw my old off road mags and show it when i see it. i want something to where if i get stuck in the desert i can get my self out. you might be like but your in the desert how? with this! http://www.pullpal.com/

I actually pulled the trigger on that very same winch on Friday evening. I was going to go for the Smittybilt 10,000lb but this seemed to be the same quality. Can't beat the price. I also picked up a synthetic winch line over the weekend.

Hopefully my TAG bumper will arrive sometime next week, and I'll finally get to put it all together.

As for the remote, there are wireless remotes on ebay relatively cheap. I was thinking of getting one, but I've been spending $$$ like a mad man lately.

$1030 for the bumper
$350 winch & accessories
$160 for synthetic rope and fairlead
$150 for the stock grill
$100 for the headlights and markers
$95 for the bi-xenon HIDs

And that's all in the last 4 weeks.

Oh, yea, can't forget $100 a tank every time I fill up.

Mine will arrive on Friday, although I probably won't get everything fully mounted and wired for a few weeks.

I'll post a first look review once it shows up.
