window not working

my passenger side window wont go up or down, i took the door panel off and the motor doesnt even make noise like its trying to work. i'm guessing i need a new motor and its not a connection issue? sorry for the dumb question, kinda new to working on these

If you can't operate it from the driver or passenger side, then I think the motor is a good place to start. They are a common problem on Fords. The good news is that I've never seen one go more than once during the life of a truck.
