I dont see why not, i know on my 99 expy you can, just have to take apart the face of the headlight switch off VERY GENTLY or you will end up glueing/buying another one.

Hmm, just noticed the top light on the driver side window switch is out :( I'd replace it if it were really easy. Guess I'll have to wait for more of them to go out :p

Did anyone figure this one out? I had to take my drivers side rear door window switch apart because it wasn't working. Found out that the contacts inside the switch had crap built up on them. Took the contacts out and placed them in a glass of acetone and then dried them off. Switch works like a champ. However my vent switch for the rear windows by the sunroof has the lights out. I haven't messed to see how to remove the panel to take the switch out, but I'm guessing the internals are the same as the window switch I took apart. That had an circuit board with LED's built into it. I suppose I could remove the board from the terminals but I don't want to run the risk of breaking the switch not only that but I don' think I could even replace the LED's with out destroying the board. Anyone try this or know where I can get a switch for a good price? Cheapest one I could find was on RockAuto and it was like $63?!?!

You won't be able to replace the LEDs. My guess, though is that there is just a bad contact within the board. Not sure why Ford decided to step down the 12 volt input to 5 volt using a bank of resistors. The resistors get hot (especially since the lights are on whenever the car is on). On my window switch, if you push down in the middle of the board, all the LEDs lights up, so it's not the LEDs going out, it's a problem with the board. I have a video of it somewhere as a how to open up a window switch.

I've just learned to live with it.
