My Mercedes had this and it was amaaaaaaazing in the summer.just making sure everyone knew this. Press and hold lock or unlock to roll windows up or down from afar
Is this standard or optional? My 2018 XLT does not have this. Does this come with a certain package level?just making sure everyone knew this. Press and hold lock or unlock to roll windows up or down from afar
but you can probably enable it with ForScanMy loaded up XLT doesn't have this feature!
Actually FORScan doesn’t have a code update for this function. I’ve tried.
My DDM & PDM modules have more code in them then what is shown, so my 18 Expy shows:I have the feature, so i haven't tried to specifically enable it, but it is listed in the sheets, values below.
The values match my as-Built with the exception of 726-30-01, i have 0303 vs 0101, so i have an additional bit toggled on in both those spots, but the 1 bit is also on
of course if you've tried all those and not working, i guess it's a no-go. I have read of some successes and failures when it comes to the window feature.
Global Window Open/Close
After pressing lock/unlock on fob, press lock/unlock again and hold button for front windows to go up/down

I will give it another try. Thanks740-05-01-- DA11 0000 0F47

that's my as-build on those.. yes they are longer, but only care about the 'D' in the first position. Sorry if that's unclear (i just copy/pasted from the spreadsheet)
also for the up/down, instructions vary, but you may need to Lock / then lock-hold for up, and unlock then unlock hold for down. (I think that's how mine works.. have only done it once to test)
This is another "hey, did you know?!" item:
If you open the sunroof all the way and then press the open button again, the roof opens another 3 inches or so. No idea why it doesn't open the full way off the bat, but it doesn't...you have to press the button again to get your extra few inches of sweet sunlight.
Not a 4th-gen exclusive thing though. The 3rd-gen also does this, it’s not a pano thing. It’s even printed in the manual.
I will give it another try. Thanks
