Ok hello everyone.it a 2000 ford expedition 4.6. I replaced my battery, alternator, and now my engine computer. My truck won't start, and the battery light stays on. With my old computer it would start, but only get up to 40mph. Now it won't start what can I do to fix this problem. Help

Welcome to the site.

May be better to troubleshoot your no start issue instead of throwing parts at it. You will need to "marry" the new pcm to the current instrument cluster or reinstall the original pcm and go from there. Only the dealer can marry to them so don't waste your time trying to find a way to do it.

Yeah I had 6 different "mechanic" tell me to change these parts. My alternator was bad and overcharging my battery. The truck would start and not shut off, not accelerate with much power, and was told my computer was probably bad. Not sure if the computer is bad, but I got it from autozone, and gave them the millage, and vin number. It just gets really hot so I have to get them to replace it. I'm just so frustrated and need help.

Is the theft light flashing rapidly?
Your old pcm was probably a core for the autozone pcm, is that correct?
