The remote self opening rear door like the Nav. and suggestion on how to get this done?..

I think the easier way might be to trade in your truck for a Navigator.

You'll need all the parts, plus the remote module.

When I bought my expy a month and 1/2 ago I was set to buy a Nav but could not find the seat config I needed/wanted so I looked at this EB and hands down like it better then the Nav.

I wonder if this can be accomplished via the aftermarket?

I've never looked but there are all kind of actuator companies out there...

Oh...and I forgot to add the smilie after the word Navigator. My response was more of a joke.

Although since there is truth in every joke...I guess I stand beside my remark. :) Well..for me anyway. The hassle far outweighs the benefits.

Anything custom (within reason) can be mechanically made to happen. Look at gull wing doors that some people have put on their show cars. You have an advantage that the factory has done the engineering, all you have to do is apply it. I've often thought about if it would be possible to put a tailgate/glass hatch on an Expedition. I think that would be cool.
