hi all first time poster here, about to purchase a platinum 2018 or 2019, but have a question. my wife is pretty fixed on the idea that she wants to run snow tires during the winter months, she currently drive a jeep grand cherokee summit and we were able to find a good deal on a limited trim 18" take offs that we setup up with nokian winter tires. my idea would be to find some take offs xlt 18" and use those during the winter months on the platinum.
does anybody know of any limitation to run 18" wheels on a platinum trim? On the jeep I wasn't able to run 17" due to the heavy duty brake calipers that come standard on the 5.7 HEMI, so I want to make sure this is possible.
ebay is full of both f150 and some expedition xtl 18" wheels so it shouldn't be a problem to find some take offs which I prefer instead of aftermarket, I like to keep the OEM looks.
