Looks good. What did you use to clean it?

Just pressure washed it after soaking with mean green. I idled the engine till it got slightly warm then sprayed the mean green on, let it soak for a few minutes then rinsed it all off. after it dried I wiped it all down with some armor all for a bit of a shine on the hoses and plastics.

Put in the new harmonic balancer bolt, installed fan/fan clutch, shroud, radiator, belt, PS reservoir, ps pump, air box, etc. Eventful night - got the beast put back together and fired up. Sounds quieter then my car - no tick, not even fuel injector noise.

Going to bucks auto see if I can find a few parts and a front bumper for my 99-02 conversion. Removed the tailgate emblems. Power polished the tailgate. Have a few dents to pull tomorrow with a home-made paintless dent reoair kit. Oh also washed the rad support from years of neglect. ( just got this Expy a couple weeks ago)

Drove my Expedition to work today. Don't usually take the truck since with gas at $1.51 per litre it costs about $22/ day to get to work. Groan.

fuel here has gone up from 2.99 back up to 3.60/gallon. my fuel mileage picked up from ~11 to 14mpg from the summer fuel switch but it still costs me about $60/week doing about 40 miles a day.

With a 108 litre tank it could be over $160. My personal record is $145 for a fill up.

From dead empty I could imagine. I paid $86 for 24 gallons and that was 2 gallons from the point she was completely empty according to the fact she wouldnt start until I added it. That's why a fill up for me is usually from about 3/8 of a tank.

Good to keep a reserve an keep the fuel pump covered
