Guys, got an update for you. Sorry I haven't posted sooner but work has kept me busy as of late. Anyway, I got a call from the Ford dealership's body shop and he confirmed they are going to repair the cracks. I asked how they will make the repair and he said they will replace the sealant in that area, respray and clear over. He said it is the only way to do it right and not have problems later. I then made a comment that it was nice to see Ford take care of this and he said they are not, the dealer ship is going to pay for the repair as the warranty has just expired. I thought I had a few more months but I was mistaken. (Keep in mind I found these cracks just a few weeks after we purchased it). Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised they would do this but that is the kind of dealership this is. The body shop manager did say this is the kind of stuff the owner of the dealership does. In fact when I brought it in for an oil change, the owner gave me a free one, instead of me waiting for them to change the oil he gave me an Explorer he had on the lot to got to work in. Crazy, never seen anything like this before. He certainly has one me over and has a repeat customer. The dealership is Gene Lewis
