Anyone dealt with rotting rocker panels?
Has anyone tried the slip on panels? How do they fit and attach? Any known good ones (or bad ones to steer clear of)? My rockers are so bad I’m not sure there is much good material to weld to anymore. I think if it’s covered it will at least keep salt out and inhibit some further damage...- dirtrider

Brake line replacement 2003 expedition
If anyone knows the fitting sizes I need that would really be helpful. That's my biggest unknown and while it isn't a big deal it sure would be nice to buy them all ahead of time instead of running back and forth to the store.- dirtrider

Brake line replacement 2003 expedition
I just had the brake line on my 2003 expedition split right under the spiral wrapped section by the drivers side front wheel. Brake pedal went flat to the floor but I was able to stop, crimp the line, and limp it home. Lines are very rusted and I should replace them all. Has anyone...- dirtrider

I find it absolutely crazy that Ford has had this same problem for over a decade on the same model. I would have been even more pissed if I upgraded my 2003 just to encounter the same thing again. Does Ford care about repeat buyers? I would have thought so especially with the dwindling...- dirtrider

2004 Prefab sub box?
Looks like I'll be able to let you know if the JL Audio Stealthbox fits an 03 in about 2.5 weeks when I get it. Not the most prudent purchase I ever made at ~$850 after all things considered just to add a sub. Hope it fits!- dirtrider

Speaker upgrade subwoofer for 2003 Gen 2
I got my hands on the wiring diagrams. Those are connectors C405 and C465. They are not labeled as being for anything. I have no idea if C465 is for diagnostics or if those wires are something that could still be used for adding a factory subwoofer since the wire colors look the same as the...- dirtrider

On the top picture I posted you can see a purple wire, blue wire, green/black wire, and I believe yellow/black wire in a connector that presently isn't used. JL Audio Stealthbox
If I could find a good deal on one of those I'd try it in my 03 expedition. I had no factory subwoofer so I guess I'd just cut out a hole in the proper place once mounted and find a grill for it. If anyone knows a place to save a decent amount off retail let me know.- dirtrider
