    So I got my fuel pump replaced. The car stays on but now I’m back at square one with the no acceleration. Do I need to fill the tank for it to register? The mechanic said I have a bad O2 sensor in bank 2. Could that cause loss of power?

    Okay I did just like you said and heard the pump with the key in the On position. But I couldn’t hear it over the engine when I started the car. It stayed on a bit longer this time, but kept shaking then shut off illuminating all dashboard lights.

    No I don’t believe so. I’ve gotten my air filter replaced with each if not every other oil change. Like I said, it was driving fine all day and then that evening it just stopped accelerating.
