My guess if the packs are good... -Faulty boot(s). Archs from prior misfires can damage the boot by either creating pinholes or carbon trails. -Head not seated properly or head gasket damaged (worse case the head is cracked) -Intake manifold leaking into spark plug chamber(s). New to me 2000 Expy
Great job! :cheers: The only things I could suggest looking into (which have been the only two major things for me) is the blend door and intake manifold. The blend door has a major design flaw and will flop around or get stuck. The manifold will eventually spring a leak. Mine leaked at...- Mike White

Coil pack
I'm not sure what year this Expedition is, but I can speak for the 1st gen. Sanding is not needed as the body of the coil pack does not rely on its mounting surface to function (i.e. the mouting screw does not ground the coil). I recommend cleaning since it's out just as a form of house...- Mike White

New owner of a expedition NEED HELP!!!
So this sounds familiar....long story short; I had a very small coolant leak from my manifold that was dripping into one of my valve covers. The water would build up, start random archs and I'd replace the coil....did this 5 times. I'd replace the boot as well because the unwanted discharge...- Mike White

heater won't work... even in Texas!
As others have said....if your heater hose inlet is hot but the outlet is cold, you have blockage. You could pull your hoses at the firewall and back flush the heater core which dislodges debris. If both hoses are hot, most likely your blend door is busted. The door has weak hinges and just...- Mike White
