I found this

3 Input Adapter

Anyone happened to install one of these or is interested in giving it a go before I try to order on from the US, deal with Customs, and all that. By the time it hits my door it will be 3 months and an extra $100 for shipping, customs, and brokerage.

I don't really like the "wired remote" however, to bad it cannot do it automatically, I guess thats out because it will still be receiving a signal from the CD changer. I guess a guy could always just intercept the outputs from the changer and by some parts from Radio Shack (or similar) with a 2 position selector to either input the aux. or changer to the stereo. Hum, I might just have to find me a Radio Shack..

Something like what this guy built and only have a small switch accesable somewhere, maybe even in the console.
3 input to 1 output

Does anyone happen to know if the rear park assist beeper keeps working after an aftermarket head unit install or does that feature disappear? To be honest I have not even gone looking if it still beeps without the stereo... I guess I should have done that when I pulled it out the first time... so that means stay tuned - cause I'll remove it again to find out.

So I am going to try to pick up a 4PDT switch this weekend and wire it inline to the stock CD Changer input to the stereo - what this does will give me an AUX input with the stock deck as long as CD's are present in the changer - basically all I will be doing is hijacking the outputs (left and right) of the changer when the switch is on, and diverting it to the AUX input - I'll take photo's and report if I am succeed - which I am about 99.9% sure of. I might install USB ports in the rear audio plate for the kids to charge MP3 players also... I'll take photo's and document for those interested.

So I picked up the switch, 1/8" stereo jack, 4 conductor wire, today so I hope to get some photo's of the stuff, the wiring diagrams, how to's - or how I did them online this weekend - I am hoping to find some time tonight after the kiddies go to bed.
