Before I start my car

Last night before I started my car I put the key in the ignition of my 03 eddie bauer and its I am looking the little box that tells the mileage and it says door ajarred (Because I hadnt cloded the door yet)and low oil pressure......So I start my car and it no longer say low oil pressure .Am I an idiot lol or is this normal
