In the process of exchanging the rusted out radiator support on my 2005.

Taking it all down is going well. I am now at the point where I'm trying to loosen the bolts of the main supports that have the rubber bushings.

I'm trying to figure out what nut size this one is!? A 9/16 is too small and a 5/8 a hair too big (big enough for a slip and strip)

Any suggestions on how to loosen these??

Thanks!

Metric on any vehicle after 2000. Get a set of metric at least up to 19mm.
Try 15mm for your current issue.

9/16 really close to 14mm. I have used 9/16 to fill in for 14 mm on rusty bolts or when I have a fancy SAE wrench where straight 14 mm doesn't really reach.
5/8 is actually 15.875mm.

3/4 also stands in 19mm almost universally.

You will have better luck with a set of metric wrenches from harbor freight.

The only place I know to use SAE is on a brake bleed screw. That is 3/8 if I am correct.

Omg. Yes I, completely forgot. Always use 6 point wrenches on suspension parts . Especially in thr rust belt.
Also pb blaster is your friend.
