2012 Expedition XLT - was changing the pesky heater hose and dropped something down into void between the wheel liner.

Can’t seem to find much online but any idea on how to get this out?

Passenger side of it matters, it’s battery powered so I’d hate to have to leave this in there until something happens.

Thanks!

If it's in a direct line of sight, why not use a pole magnet or retractor?

You can pop the fender liner then replace the rivets. I do that occasionally to get pine needles and other debris out. Can you reach the item from the side where the fender meets the door?

Hard to tell the depth of the needed-reach with the photo, but could you use a good set of mechanical fingers to retrieve the item?
