Gen 1 XLT dual din fit?

Hey guys wondering if any of you have managed to get a dual din to fit in your dash? I'd love to put in one of those touchscreen decks with navigation and everything. Stock has to go soon so I've been shopping around and both amazon and crutchfield's will it fit things say only single DIN units will fit.
So if any of you have done dual in particularly installed a nav unit how'd it fit and was there a lot of modifying that had to be done?

Just installed one in mine its easy except getting all the wires tucked away was a *****

Cutting away the metal bracket inside makes it 1000 times easier.

It's very possible, just needs some minor trimming. I just sat there with a dremel until I got it right
