Thought you guys would like this... it's a 2018 Expedition Standard wheel base towing a 2019 Outback 328RL. I will assume the TV has the max tow which is rated for 9200, but the dry weight of that trailer is 8700, and wet weight is 10500. I cant imagine pulling it. I talked to the people(since I have a outback trailer too) and they said it pulls the trailer just fine. I am just a little dumbfounded!

I used to pull a 33' trailer with a 2003 Expedition and it was just fine, but it only had a GVWR of 7600. He is over GVWR of the SUV by alot!

Length of travel trailer vs. weight can be deceiving.

I pull a 1987 32' Airstream. Original factory dry weight was 6,500 lbs. After complete remodel, where I yanked out old/weird and heavy sort of laminate flooring, old solid oak cabinetry facia, heavy wood window blinds, dinette, a foldout couch, etc. and replaced with a streamlined design, using lighter weight/modern materials, it weighed in dry just under 5,700 lbs. on certified CAT scale (12%+ drop in overall weight). Not sure why, but tongue weight only dropped about 5%. In any event, it beautifully pulls w/ our 2019 Expy Max w/ HD tow package.
