Depends on what model year and engine you have, but I believe the OEM manufacturer on the COPs for Motorcraft is either Bosch or Denso. For the 2005 I'm pretty sure it's Denso. If you buy a Denso part, you will likely get a part that has the Ford logo and the Ford part number scraped off. Denso is about 34-35 bucks a piece, not sure how much you have to pay for the Motorcraft ones.

Yeah, the price for a Denso isn't that much cheaper than a Motorcraft.

Set of 8 with spark plugs, 425 bucks:

One COP, 37 bucks:

This is for the '05 and '06 with 3V engines, we still don't know the model year and engine which you have so I can't say if this is correct for your vehicle or not.
