2000 Ford Expedition
175k
Replaced front CV's and axles (ripped boot. Cheaper to replace the whole kit).
Fornt and rear shocks ( air suspension to non).
Sunroof is next.
Fiex the rear hatch with zip ties.
Rear wiper is next.
Trailing arms replaced, heater core replaced, rear axle seals replaced. Air ride relay replaced. Ball joints & control arms replaced.
New COPs (Global) installed at 100k w/plug change.
All done within the last few years.
Was looking at the underside the other day. Rust is everywhere and the radiator mount looks esp bad. In this part of the country time is an incredible enemy to these trucks.
1998 EB Expedition 240,000 miles just replaced springs in accumulator valve body and main valve body with transgo kit E40D transmission is like new now. Replaced airbags with 4" lift rancho 9000xl shocks and got the stiffer torsion bars spring rate of 7...from F-150 with snow plow package....perfect!
Well she just passed 200K and I had the rear differential oil changed with last LOF and TR, because highway speeds seems to ride sluggish. But it seems to vibrate now after they did the work, thinking someone forgot to balance the tires with the rotation.
