Tow ball equipment for 2001 Expedition, what to get?

I have a 2001 Expedition that is stock. I am looking to hook up a tow ball but have never done this sort of thing. Lots of choices, Should a standard straight tow ball mount work in general or do I need one that is a drop down?

Thanks for the reply, that is what I picked up today but I thought since this is a new area for me i better get some input. Why would you get straight?

You need a hitch mount to fit the trailer you are pulling (keep the trailer level or near to level). I have a 3.5" drop on mine currently for the 2 horse trailer I pull. Since I went to 33s, I should probably get a 4.5".

I have an adjustable one that is a 10" drop to a 8" rise....

I would get an adjustable one because every trailer has the same ride height.
