i did a little fine tuning on my A/C , but not with freon
i used coil klean from a HVAC supplier,its an acid cleaner.
put it in a pump up sprayer and went to town at the car wash on
the condenser.
i did calibrate temp thing in ice water at 33f

damn that AC looks cold... mine is like crap but I need to replace my blend door.... right now a stick probs the door the right way....

thats a good idea as i just got my a/c fixed today... then electric fans to keep it cold around town

do you spray the front of the condenser, how do you get to it with the grille and bumper in the way, and do you spray it down from the back side (Hose it off)

Pulled off the cover off the top of the rad (plastic) , then i sprayed the coil klean on the condensor, as much as i could reach. then i went through the holes in grill
let it sit to do its job (will foam the dirt out) pressure washer: this is important the spray has to be straight into the densor, not on any angle as to bend the fins

Nice. Thanks for the info. So where exactly is the condenser located? Behind the main grill, or down below?

Though, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to hit all the radiators with this stuff, would it?

i dont want to sound like an idiot but where is the condensor located in relation to the radiator, power steering collar, tranny fluid cooler, etc. ?
Also all you did was clean it with a pressure washer and it made your air cooler???
