33s do look big... unless they are on a 1st gen expy...

Nope you have 4x2 on your year the 4x4 sits higher. To fit 33's you would still need to do the 3/2 like I did. 33 is a big tire dont be fooled
Actually according to the owners manual the 4x2 version actually sits higher than the 4x4 version by .2 inches. I have a 2 1/2 spacer on the front only and I'm running 33's on it with no problems so you might be able to get away with the 2" lift on the font.
The stock tires are 265/70/17 which are 32's to it's not a huge size increase. Here's how mine looks with the 33's on it.

We can do a little experiment with you BlackExpy. I'm installing a 3/2 on mine to get some more height out of it and I'll send you my 2.5" spacers for free and you can see if they fit 33's.![]()
