Hey guys
my name is Raynard A.K.A Ray Ray im a 26 y/o underwriter....I purchased my 2002 expedition 4.6 bout mid-December off a guy from Craigslist for $1000.00 after talking the guy down to $600.00. He let me have it. He told me the motor needs a head job and a good cleaning. So I towed it home had to put a serpentine belt and a new belt tensioner on started it up and ran like crap but it ran. So I was going to drive it to a local machine which is like 2 blocks away, but the dam rims wouldn’t move because the genius put 15x10 rims on it…smh…so after buying a set of 20” for a local rim shop for 200.00 rims and tires. Got it to the shop and the guy tells me it needs new heads so I put completing getting them ported and polished, but the guy talked me out of it plus I need the truck asap…so after 1500.00 for that…I’m on the road love my truck since then I have out 10k miles on it…
Plans: cold air intake the one with the filter enclosed, Programmer (not real sure on which one yet), and Duals I wanna say flow masters 40 series with 3” piping (I want that deep sound), And a transmission kit that I seen
I want to get another 4.6 and get it bored out and heads port and polished father down the line…let me know what you guys think im just really looking for a more low end power with a deep tone budget round $3k
