Bad headrest designs and possible fix

So my 2011 Headrests have got to be the worst design. I did some research and found out that some people have actually bent the posts back to straighten the headrests up. To me it sounds kind of sketchy to take a pole and bending the headrest post back as a fix. Has anyone ever tried this or even heard of this? Please let me know before I go wrestle with the headrests in the garage...

sorry - just subscribing. My drivers side one is currently turned backwards. I believe there was a discussion on here or maybe it was an f150 forum - just have not looked it up yet. Backwards is a temporary solution u but have not looked further in to it yet

I just bent my headrests back about 3/4" and they are MUCH better and allows me to now install the other two headrest monitors "in" the headrests. Much better and wasn't that hard to do. I used a 5' piece of 1/2" Black Iron or gas line and it worked.
