Steering is getting hard to turn at idle I have to use 2 hands to turn wheel. No fluid leaking. Once driving it's ok. But at first cornering is hard then it's real easy In the steering wheel. Is it Possible pump is on it's way out? Truck has 156k . Oem pump.

If you rev up the engine at a stop is it easier to turn? If so that'd be my first guess

It gets easier to turn anyway when you go faster even without power steering. I think your pump is probably dead or the shaft broken.

try flushing your steering box fluid. Ford says to do it at least once at high mileage or old age. There is no filter for this oil so it will get dirty with wear. make sure and use proper motorcraft fluid!
