I wanna run a Dana 60 front end on leaf springs and a Sterling 10.5" rear end on leaf spring too and a ZF5 manual transmisson any ideas to a transfer case setup could i just use a BW 4406 manual shift or do I need a heavier t case with the larger axles. Thanks Guys!

Why?? Are you planning to build a monster truck with an aggressive lift??

Samrider777 did something like that, but his truck is huge and I would imagine not very practical for a daily driver. What do you plan to gain from the solid axle swap that the IFS does not give you?

I want a leaf spring lift and the manual locking front hubs so I and eventually get a DOHC 5.4 with a supercharger I want to have the deep gears and wider axles for the look I like and caus its more solid than ifs

Sounds like you have major plans for your expy!

You really need to speak with samrider because as far as I know he is the only one here that has done a leaf spring conversion with the front suspension.

sam rider and southern expy both did a leaf spring swap..... im hopefully going to get plate steel soon but havent been able to find anything local thats not dimond plate i have been hunting craigslist fot 1/4" plate steel to make my bumpers for months and still no luck... i have to make frame mounts aswell if anyone knows of a sturdy design for a bumper mount i want bolt on to the frame but welded through the bumper to a shackle on the front so i will be able to recover expy by herself in the woods
