Hello all,

I just bought my first expy Monday, November 9th-the dealer I went through was awesome-he is a customer of mine (I run a marina) and I mentioned to him that I was interested in getting a used expy about 2 months ago. I would call him occasionally and ask him if he had found anything that was of interest yet. Well, about 2 1/2 weeks ago he brought me a 2007 blue eddie bauer el with 26,000 miles to test drive-I drove that and knew immediately that I had to have that vehicle! This vehicle ROCKS! Probably the smoothest ride I have ever owned, well, not probably, without a doubt the smoothest! I come from a family that pretty much drove GM exclusively, for various reasons, mainly the discount. This vehicle drives and handles hands down much better than the Yukons and Enclaves I have driven in the past (families).

I am amazed by the stock power this beast creates-when you want to pass you better tell your passengers to hang on as we are about to go on a ride! The sheer lack of highway noise is extremely impressive-this is truly a cruising vehicle.

Ford hit a home run with this vehicle-I would strongly encourage anyone on the fence about buying one to do so.

The fact that this vehicle has a 9000 lb. tow rating is incredible-I can easily use this vehicle to pick up customers boats for repair and restoration while on family vacations-nothing like combining work and play!

If you couldn't tell, I really, really like this vehicle.

Sweet, I was hunting for an Limited or EB EL, but couldn't find one in my price range. I settled on an '07 EB loaded minus NAV. If you don't mind, what did you give for it?

Well, the asking price was 34,100, but through rigorous negotiations on both of our sides, we got the price down to 24,900, but that is a misleading price, as I have given our customer some credits on his account. Unfortunately this vehicle does not have the nav system-I will be looking into that, though.

That's about right for the asking price. The blackberry's NAV works quite well for the better half and plugging in into the input allows her hear the directions through the stereo. I'm interested in the power fold mirrors as they make pulling into the garage quite a bit easier for her. There are batter scars on the door jamb from the F150 mirrors from her navigating...thankfully, those mirrors are designed to collapse both ways.

Good luck with the new vehicle!

Since you have a 2007 read this, I posted a few months back.

I have a 07 EL Limited. Perforated leather w/heat and cool. When I hit the brakes hard the drivers seat moves forward about 1/2 inch. Scares you to death. So, here is the long story. Had it to Ford, they ordered the seat track. Wrong one shiped so they ordered again. National back order stuff like that. New seat track came in. Well they did not read the TSB, which states order a new wire harness. That is not even made yet. They stated September or October. Not a full recall just they know of the problem. So beware if you have problems. Get it done before the 36K creeps up. I don't know if an extended warranty would cover it.

Just resolved this Thursday! 11-12-9
