 Hey fellas-newbie here! So just the other day i was changing my spark plugs-What a PITA! When a friend stopped by and decided he wanted to give me a hand-big no no! so in order to make some space for me on the left side he unhooked one of the 2 heater hoses (the one on the right) that run through the firewall, then decided to leave cuz it was getting dark. i tried to hook it back up and for some reason it just keeps leaking. also i found an o-ring in that area and thought it had to have come from that line. is there an o-ring in the line???? How does the hose connect????

I don't see a mention of an O-ring in the manual for a 2000 Expy. Which hose was it, the one with the hose clamp or the one with the squeeze thing?

just went outside and took out the o-ring. put back the hose without the o-ring leaked like a running faucet. put back the o-ring and the leak got smaller but still leaking heavily. pushed the line back with my hand and leak completely disappeared. but for some reason the line won't stay in that position.

fixed it!!!! went to ford and bought a new quick connect coupling. the counter guy added 4 rubber o-rings and 2 plastic o-rings then charged me $20. they don't call them stealers for nothing! any way it took 2 rubber and 1 plastic and that did the trick, no more leak!

Heh, I was going to suggest broken coupling.

For the draining the fluid, try looking for a drain **** on the passenger side of the radiator.
