If you're going to travel into some rougher terrain you may want to temporarily remove the running boards.
They are too low and will get damaged very easily.

Thanks!! I have the suspension from Unity to swap out the air system. I'm going to take out the complete system to free up some space and eventually add a better suspension system with a 2.5 in lift, but i wont have that done until i get back from vacation. We'll see how Unity Automotive holds up. . .

My 2001 at the dirty turtle in Bedford Kentucky. Great and safe place to off-road

I just saw that place featured on Xtreme Offroad. Looks cool.

But it's still crazy to me to think of heading to an offroad park. Here in CO there is tons of Forest and BLM land. I hate the trails that are "out and back". I like going places- I take a trail over a mountain to connect one highway to another. Or go from one town to another.

But if that's what you've got, it's better than nothing.

Hey explorer Tom. Cool picture and like the terrain as well. I like the park until I’ve got the expedition where I want it. Higher/plated and ready for Colorado or the desert.

Ha! It took me long enough but finally! Out with the old and in with the new! Took out the rear airbags that were failing and replaced with coils. Now I'm on my way to get new running boards or step bars.
